The name of the Hawaiian state fishhumuhumunukunukuapuaa (just sound out the syllables, it'll roll off the tongue in no time).
When we visited the Bishop Museum (a great place to explore Hawaiian history and culture), Cassidy went up to the presenter after the hula performance to ask her how to spell some of the words she used. She said she'd go one betterif we'd come back the next day, she'd bring lists of words she uses with "her kids." She is a kumu, a teacher, at the military school on base, and teaches children and adults about Hawaii with great joy.
